EXPERT COUNCIL

The International Expert Council will bring together experienced professionals from different regions to provide independent expert opinions and recommendations on important industry issues affecting the vending and unattended retail sector worldwide.

WHAT WILL THE COUNCIL DO?

INDUSTRY QUESTIONS

The Council will review complex industry matters related to regulation, taxation, customs, standards, market development and more.

PROVIDE INTERNATIONAL
EXPERT OPINIONS

When an association or an official institution submits a question, the Council will discuss it and develop an expert opinion.

DISCUSS DIFFERENT
PROFESSIONAL VIEWS

Experts from different countries will share experience, data and perspectives to ensure a balanced international view.

VOTE WHEN OPINIONS
DIFFER

If views differ, the Council may vote. The final opinion will reflect the collective position based on established voting rules.

WHO MAY REQUEST AN EXPERT OPINION?

National and Regional AssociationsAssociations may submit industry questions requiring international professional discussion.
Government and Public AuthoritiesRegulatory, tax, customs and other government bodies may request expert input.
Other Relevant InstitutionsOther recognized institutions may also submit questions within the Council’s future scope.

The Council will not replace national authorities or associations. Its role will be to provide an independent international professional perspective based on the experience of experts from different markets.

HOW WILL THE COUNCIL BE FORMED?

The Expert Council has not yet been established. Its final size, composition, nomination process, voting rules and other procedures will be developed at a later stage in consultation with participating associations.

The first priority of the Initiative is to build the international network and establish the framework for the future Expert Council.
