International Discussion Initiative · Current platform privacy notice

This page is a working privacy notice for the current consultation platform. It explains, in plain language, what participant information the platform uses to provide participation functions and preserve the consultation record.

1. Information used by the platform

2. Why the information is used

3. Session and security data

The platform uses secure session cookies and a separate CSRF protection mechanism for protected actions. Session information is used for authentication and is not itself displayed as public profile information.

4. Public consultation record

Comments and naming contributions are part of the consultation record. Depending on the screen, the platform may display the participant's name and organization together with a contribution. Participants should therefore avoid submitting confidential personal or commercial information in public discussion fields.

5. Data sharing

The platform is intended for the participating initiative community. Participant information is not intentionally sold or used for advertising. Access to operational data may be limited to people or services that need it to operate, secure, or maintain the platform.

6. Data retention

Participation history may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to preserve the consultation record and operate the initiative. Retention periods and administrative procedures may be refined as the initiative moves from consultation to a permanent governance model.

7. Participant requests

Questions or requests concerning participant information should be directed through the official administrative channel designated by the Initiative Group. The platform does not currently publish a dedicated public contact address on this page.

8. Policy status

This is the current working privacy notice for the consultation phase. It may be expanded as the platform establishes its final organizational, legal, and administrative arrangements.
